Interesting session at East Bay potluck today... early on, the "swing session" wasn't too crowded, and we were able to keep tempo without too much rushing, even did some slower tempos and interlocking parts. I ended up not playing percussion, just accordion, and it was the first real time I was melodically straightforward, even doing some thematic development. I believe it was noticeable to others, a different type of sound there.

In back later I played two musette tunes, pretty much solo, using what I've learned from the Farmers Market. No real country-flavored stuff today. All in all, it was more of a solid sound than what I've been able to achieve in those sessions previously... a step forward.
