Not productive. Saturday at the market was good, a 90-minute and 75-minute set, but then I've been sleeping a lot since then. Haven't had a session this evening and will probably conk now. This morning I was out of practice but this had the benefit of forcing me back to establishing a good rhythm... The Entertainer particularly was in a nice place, slower, but more musical.

Been working on Ca Gaze and The Cascades, two javas. Worked on San Francisco at a slower tempo.

Saturday at the market my voice became just another instrument, very good. I didn't use it instrumentally, just for lyrics, but it fit very well and was natural, not contrived.

iPod is where I've been putting my time... up to 4500 tunes... been doing a lot of rating... started putting lyrics into text files.

I'm leaning towards not going to any camps this season, partly out of laziness at having to travel carlessly, but another out of the suspicion that I really have to find my own place before getting caught up in the expectations of others. I've got to travel a bit of my own road.
